According to Hughes and Thomas (1986), feeling good about yourself depends on how we feel about our abilities and skills, our level of control over our lives, how we act according to our principles and whether we feel we deserve love and respect from others. In fact, as you can see this sense of self-worth is what we call self esteem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Feeling good about yourself is only possible when you have a healthy level of self esteem and sense of self-worth. In order to feel good about yourself, you need to be happy with who you are and the direction your life is taking. Being confident in the decisions you make and trusting in your ability to succeed is also very important.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you want to know how to feel better about yourself, then you need to follow what I have to say here. In my years of writing about the topic of self esteem and self-improvement plus my experience teaching and coaching those with low self esteem, I am able to tell you what really works and what doesn’t. Let’s start by looking at each of the factors that can help you to feel good about who you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are lots of good reasons to feel positive about yourself and who you really are. One of these is to acknowledge your skills and abilities. Everybody has unique skills and abilities.
